Volunteer
Individuals who wish to volunteer with Princeton ISD student groups and organizations must complete a volunteer application each year. This includes, but not limited to, PTA organizations, booster clubs, and other school-sponsored groups in which adults work with students other than their own children.
To become a volunteer, complete the Princeton ISD Volunteer Application. Once the application has been processed and the required criminal background check is complete, you will receive an email notification from the Princeton ISD administration office regarding your status.

Please note that volunteer applications may take up to two weeks to process.
For confidentiality reasons, please do not contact campus staff regarding your application status. Approved volunteers will receive an official emial and may serve throughout the current school year.
Volunteer Guidelines
- Report to the front office to sign in and out. School personnel must know who is in the building at all times.
- Wear a school-issued identification badge while participating in volunteer activities.
- Work under the direction of the school staff, recognizing that instruction, supervision, grading, and discipline are staff responsibilities.
- Collaborate with school staff when planning volunteer activities. When possible, tasks will align with volunteer skills and interests.
- Maintain communications with designated staff members to ensure clear expectations, assignments, and feedback.
Volunteer Code of Ethics
- Dependability - Volunteers are responsible for meeting scheduled commitments and must notify school staff promptly if unable to attend.
- Respect for School Staff - Volunteers must respect the authority of all school staff and administration.
- Confidentiality - Volunteers must not discuss student or school matters outside of appropriate school personnel. Concerns about a student should be addressed professionally with designated staff members.
- Appearance - Volunteers should dress appropriately and serve as a positive role model for the students.

All information regarding students must remain confidential. Sharing such information with unauthorized individuals may violate the law.
While students may choose to share personal information with a volunteer, certain disclosures may be legally required to be reported to a campus administrator.
