Princeton Gives Program
About the program
The Princeton Gives Program began as the transportation department's "Fill the Bus" initiative and has since been adopted by the Princeton Lions Club as its signature local service project. What started small has grown into a massive, communitywide effort to ensure a Christmas for families in need.
The program begins with a districtwide food drive, which provides a holiday meal for every family supported by the Princeton Gives Program. In addition, these families receive gifts for their children.
- Eligible children include Princeton ISD students and their under-school-aged siblings.
- Families qualify if their children are eligible for free or reduced-priced meals.
