Two Princeton campuses, Harper and Clark, earn A ratings from TEA

Two Princeton ISD campuses have earned A ratings from TEA, while the overall district received a B in the most recent accountability scoring.

In addition, seven PISD campuses also earned B ratings.

“We are super excited to recognize our two campuses, Harper Elementary and Clark Middle School, that received As, along with our campuses with Bs,” Superintendent Donald McIntyre said. “As a district, we are always looking for ways to continually improve and provide the best possible learning environment for our students.”

Because of the dedication and hard work of the entire staff, the ​Harper Elementary campus also received six marks of distinction for achievements in reading/language arts, math and science, as well as academic growth, postsecondary readiness and closing the gaps​.

​The staff of Clark Middle School ​w​orked hard with the students to earn this significant achievement​,​ and Clark ​w​as also recognized with five marks of distinction for academic excellence in math and science, as well as recognition for overall academic growth, postsecondary readiness and closing the gaps.

For the campuses with B ratings, several also earned distinctions to recognize areas of achievement or improvement.

Lovelady ​High School received four distinctions for achievements in reading/language arts and math, academic growth and postsecondary readiness, while PSHS improved to a 98% graduation rate.

Southard received five distinctions for academic achievements in math and science, as well as recognition for overall academic growth, postsecondary readiness and closing the gaps.

Mattei earned distinctions for achievements in math and postsecondary readiness.

Lowe Elementary earned distinctions for math and academic growth, while Green Elementary received a distinction for achievements in science.
