I received my Bachelors of Arts - English from Texas A&M University and my Masters of Education - Special Education Transition and Educational Diagnostician from Texas Tech University.  I began my teaching career in 2003 and have taught English grades 7-12 and have taught all levels including Special Education, On-Level and Advanced. Although I have spent some time as a Testing Coordinator and an Educational Diagnostician, my real passion is in the classroom. 

Outside of school, I am a chauffeur for my 3 kids.  My youngest, Hayden, plays soccer and spends all of his freetime in the backyard kicking goal after goal.  My middle, Caleb, plays football, takes Taekwondo classes and is involved in Boy Scouts.  My oldest, Reagan, plays volleyball and spends the little freetime she has reading crime novels.   When I am not driving my kids to their various activities, I enjoy reading anything and everything, watching crime-tv, and spending time with my husband.
