Hi, my name is Michaela Pinegar. I will be teaching Algebra ll at Princeton High school. I will also be coaching high school cross country and high school girls soccer. 

I began teaching and also coaching in the year 2020. I graduated from Arkansas State University(not the hogs though) in the year 2018. I graduated with a Bachelor's of Science in Mathematics and a Minor in Statistics. I moved to Texas from Arkansas in the year 2018. 

When I am not teaching or coaching, I enjoy doing anything outside. I started playing rugby in the year of 2017 and fell in love with it. It is an amazing sport and I still try to play when I can now. I love the summer time because I can go swimming every day. I love being in the water. I also enjoy playing video games on my PS4. I play as often as I can. I enjoy reading as well. I like fiction books, mystery, fantasy, and magic. Anything that makes me use my imagination to create the characters as I read, I love. My favorite animal would be a chameleon. I think they're super cool and would love to have one as a pet if I could. I do love dogs as well and plan on adopting one when I can. 

My philosophy of education is to make sure all children feel comfortable and safe in my classroom. When they feel that way, they will be more open to speaking their minds and grow. I will use strategies to encourage this to happen in my classroom so they continue to feel safe and comfortable enough to speak up and grow in the classroom as well as the outside world.
