Hello Panthers!

My name is Matt Magruder and I am excited to be here at PHS.  I have been teaching since 2005 and received my B.S. in Psychology/Mathematics from The University of Houston-Victoria and have also received my M.S. in School Counseling in 2020.  I really focus on building relationships with my students and try to give them the tools to be successful not only in my classroom, but in the real world.  I enjoy teaching math and I look forward to helping all of my students be successful!

When I am not teaching, I enjoy hanging out with my family, working out, and enjoying my four cats and two dogs.  I am a die-hard New England Patriots fan as well as the Texas Longhorns!
