My name is John Polus, and I currently teach Life Skills at Princeton High School. This is my first year of teaching, and I am excited about beginning my career here at Princeton ISD. 

 I grew up with several family members who have special needs, and have always had a heart for working with students that have special needs. After working as a Para in a Functional Academics class in Mckinney ISD for two years, I realized teaching Special Education is my dream. In 2021, I received a Bachelors degree in AllSPED Education,  receiving the award Magna Cum Lade for a GPA of 3.92. 

I have spent most of my life in Mckinney, but will be moving to Princeton shortly into the school year. I enjoy reading, watching the Dallas Stars,  and cooking all sorts of recipes for my friends and family.
