Jenna Baker- 6th/7th Social Studies & Girls Athletics
This year I will be coaching volleyball, wrestling and track in addition to teaching 7th-grade Texas History and 6th-grade World Cultures. Like most college students, it took me a while to figure out my major, so after studying at Baylor Univeristy and Brookhaven Community College, I finally graduated from the University of North Texas with a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology. I began my career in education in 2001 and started as a middle school PE teacher and coach in Plano ISD in 2001. Before hiring on with Princeton ISD, I have had the opportunity to gain teaching experience by working in the following districts: Blue Ridge ISD, Fort Worth ISD, Richardson ISD, Brevard County, Fla., and McKinney ISD. I am happy to be working and living in Princeton! I believe we can work as a team to make an impact on students as they go through these formative middle school years. My door is always open, and I am always willing to listen and guide any student who needs my help. I am privileged to have worked in many different content areas and types of classrooms such as behavior improvements classrooms, resource classrooms, structured teach classrooms and general education inclusion classrooms.
I have been married since 2016, and my husband, Doug, is in the Air Force reserves. We are certified foster parents through Pathways. Our cat, Snowflake, and dog, Lori Darlin', love all the cuddles and treats we spoil them with.
