Mrs. Kristen Blaede

My time with Princeton ISD has been a pleasure. I began teaching for Princeton ISD in 2006 and taught 3rd grade until the end of the year in 2013.  At that time, I took a position as a preschool director in McKinney.  This time allowed me to earn my Master's Degree. I remained the director for a while and helped get the school state certified. After serving the preschool for 5 years, I returned to Princeton ISD in 2018, where I again taught 3rd grade. I began my role as a math instructional coach in August of 2022.  I'm excited to serve the teachers of Princeton, so that they can do their best to teach and guide our students.

My education consists of a Bachelor of Arts degree in History from Miami University Oxtord, Ohio in 2000.  I then obtained teacher certification training from iteachTexas in 2006-2007.  Finally, I received my Master of Science degree in Curriculum and Instruction from Western Governor's University. I hold an EC-4th Texas Teaching License with an ESL supplement and a GT certificate.

My husband, Matt, and I were married in 1993. We have two great boys. Jake, born in 2002, loves playing baseball and is studying to become a psychologist.  Kayleb, born in 2006, is an avid soccer player and hopes to be a biomedical engineer.  My family and I love to play board games, be outside in the sunshine, and play sports activities of all kinds. Some of my personal hobbies include swimming, reading, and watching comedy movies. Traveling is one of our favorite things to do, and we have been to Russia, Germany, Ireland, Costa Rica, Hawaii, and more.  We hope to make it to France, Spain, and maybe even Australia some day.
