The PHS UIL Academic Team is a traveling group of students and coaches who compete in academic competitions throughout the state. There are a wide variety of activities in multiple academic disciplines that students can pick from in order to find the contests that best interest them. Students who meet qualifications set forth by an event's coach(es) are eligible for placement on the team for the district meet, which gives students the opportunity to qualify for additional rounds of competition at Regionals and State.
