Degrees and Certifications:

Mrs. Christine Jones

Welcome to 4th grade! My name is Christine Jones and I am so excited to join Lacy Elementary this school year. This is going to be my fifth year teaching. I previously taught Kindergarten/1st grade at a private school in Dallas and 6th grade ELAR in Richardson ISD. This is my first year teaching 4th grade and I am looking forward to new experiences. While teaching in Richardson, I was part of the yearbook committee and an avid technology enthusiast. I am excited to incorporate technology into our class!

I was born and raised in Plano, Texas by my amazing parents. I have one older sister and a wonderful neice who is entering high school this year. I love dogs and can't wait to get a puppy soon. I attended the University of Phoenix where I received my Bachelor's Degree in Psychology. I also obtained my Master's Degree in Education with a Middle Generalist specialization. While attending college, I worked at a private preschool where I met my husband, Christopher. He and I are about to celebrate our 5 year anniversary. He is a Special Education Resource teacher in Plano ISD.

My husband and I moved to Princeton in 2018 and we have fallen in love with it! In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with friends and family. My husband and I love to travel. We enjoy going on cruises together and exploring the world. I am obsessed with coffee and Haribo gummy bears! I am looking forward to a great year together where I hope to enhance your love of reading!
