About the Teacher:
I have lived in Texas my entire life. I graduated from Bonham High School and attended The University of Mary Hardin-Baylor where I majored in Art Education and minored in Psychology. I love to travel, and while attending UMHB, I studied abroad in France and England. I am currently working towards my Master's of Education at The University of Texas at Tyler and will graduate in December. I am married to a wonderful fireman/EMT who is as passionate about firefighting as I am teaching.
This will be my second year teaching Art 1 at PHS, and my third year teaching overall. I am excited to get to know each of my students individually and work with them to produce creative and original artwork in a way that is meaningful, student-centered, and expressive.
