Degrees and Certifications:

Mrs. Erica Haggard

My name is Erica (Anderson) Haggard! I am currently in my eleventh year in Education, seventh in PISD! I began my teaching career at Maypearl Middle School teaching 8th grade math and coaching volleyball, basketball, and track at the high school level. My second through fourth years, I moved to Ferris Junior High where I taught both 7th and 8th grade math while coaching volleyball, basketball and track at the high school level. My first year at PISD I was at Huddleston teaching 6th grade Math and moved up to the junior high for my last two years of teaching to be back in my comfort zone teaching 8th grade again! The past three years I have served as Assistant Principal for our middle school students and this year have moved up to Princeton High School.

During the first four years of teaching I received two masters degrees. My first degree was a Masters in Curriculum and Instruction and the second Masters in Educational Administration. While pursuing my undergraduate degree, I played basketball on scholarship for Texas A&M University-Commerce. I also walked on to the track team my junior year to throw the discus. Needless to say, I love sports and support our Princeton Panthers!

I have been blessed with a handsome son and beautiful daughter, Holden and Harper, and a wonderful and supportive husband, Adam.
