Transfer Requests
Student Transfers
On a limited basis, Princeton Independent School District allows students to transfer between schools. Transfer requests must be submitted to the Administration Office during the designated transfer window.

Important things to remember:
- You must submit one transfer request per student.
- School bus transportation is NOT provided for transfer students.
- Transfer requests must be submitted and approved annually.
- Only one transfer per student per year will be approved.
Inter-District Transfer
An inter-district transfer is for non-resident students requesting to transfer into the District.
To be eligible, a student must be the child, grandchild or sibling of a district employee or must be a student or have a sibling who is or was a student currently or previously enrolled in the district.
Intra-District Transfer
An intra-district transfer is for resident students requesting to transfer within the District.
Parents of students who currently attend Princeton Independent School District and wish for their child attend a school other than their zoned campus must submit a transfer request each year.
