Dual Credit
Princeton ISD, in partnership with Collin College, offers Dual Credit Pathways that allow students to earn both high school and college credit simultaneously. Through these pathways, students may have the opportunity to complete an Associate Degree upon graduation from high school.
The program requires a strong academic commitment and will include summer coursework. The full Associate Degree program is designed for students beginning in their sophomore year, those who start later can still earn a substantial number of college credits before graduation, but may not be able to finish a full degree prior to high school graduation.
Dual credit courses are college-level classes that count toward both high school and college graduation requirements. Courses may be offered at the high school, at Collin College or online. Completion of an Associate Degree is not required to participate in dual credit courses.
