Lacy Elementary ~ SLC
I was born in upstate NY, so yes, I am part Yankee. I moved to Southern California at the age of 4, where I grew up and graduated from Valhalla High School. My mom was transferred to Texas in 1996, which is how I ended up in Texas right after high school. I started my college education at Brookhaven Community College and then went to Tarleton State University where I received my bachelors degree in Science with Child and Family emphasis. I have completed my masters in Curriculum in Instruction in Autism at Arizona State University, and I received my ABA (Applied Behavior Analysis) Certificate at Arizona State University in 2020. I have wanted to be a teacher my entire life and I am thrilled to continue my dream here at Princeton ISD. I started my teaching career as a special education paraprofessional in Lewisville ISD and then continued as a special education teacher within the district. I have been in Princeton ISD at Lacy Elementary since Aug. 2013 as the SLC (Structure Learning) teacher.
I have four children, two of which are bonus children! My husband and I have 3 girls (Kenzie-18, Cadence-16, Macie-14) and 1 boy (Tristan-12). They are our world! And who, to say the least, keep us busy....we love to have fun, play and explore together. We also have a fur baby, Axel who is a Great Dane.
My favs: purple, butterflies, colored pens, sticky notepads, exercise, water, unsweet tea w/raspberry, dark chocolate and AMAZON!!!
