STUDENT TEACHING AND OBSERVING

Princeton ISD welcomes student teachers and observers during the fall, spring and summer semesters. All student teacher and student observer requests are handled through Human Resources. Student teachers or representatives should not contact teachers or principals directly. Requests for placement must be made in writing by a university or certification program.
Applications are accepted year-round and are handled in the order that all documents are received. Placement availability is limited, especially for summer; therefore, requests are taken on a first-come, first-served basis.
To request placement for student teaching or observation hours, the following two documents are required:
(1) Have your university or certification program send a written request for placement; and
(2) Download, complete and return the PISD Student Field Experience Form (see below)Both documents should be emailed to:
