I am looking forward to this year at Princeton ISD.
As a certified teacher in Regular Education as well as Special Education, I enjoy working with a large variety of students. I have received extensive training in Vocational Education, Transition, Autism, Behavior Strategies, In-Home Training, and am currently a certified teacher of students with visual impairments. I am attending graduate classes through Stephen F. Austin for my Master's in Special Education with an emphasis in Vision.
As a Homebound Teacher, I am pleased to be able to provide for the educational needs of students who cannot attend their campuses due to extended illness and the recommendation of their doctor. Working with their teachers, instruction continues so the students can be on track when they return to their home campus.
As a team player, I strive to help out wherever I can. I am always happy to meet with Teachers, Parents or other Staff to share information and strategies. As an Employee of Special Programs, I follow the directives of the Special Education Director. Requests for my time will be cleared through campus administration as well as the Special Education Director.
I look forward to an outstanding year, and hope to help create a positive experience for students.
