Back to School Transportation InformationWelcome to a new year at Princeton ISD!Princeton ISD provides bus transportation for students who live at least two miles from their school or for those who must travel a hazardous route as determined by the Texas Education Agency Guidelines. To learn whether your address qualifies for bus transportation, click on the button below:The results of your search will look similar to the example below. In this example, the school is listed first (Godwin Elementary), followed by the bus stop location (Dahlia Way & Wandering Stream (NW)) and pick-up/drop-off time (7:41 am pick up and 4:21 pm drop-off). Below the bus stop location, you will see the route number before the name of the school it transports to. In this example, the bus route number is 33.Students who live within two-miles of their campus will be listed in the "Walk Zone."Crossing guards will be located at various intersections to assist walkers when crossing streets.
Important Bus Information
-
Pick-Up Times
Students riding the bus should arrive at the bus stop 10 minutes before the scheduled bus stop time, allowing for a slight variance in clocks.
In the mornings, the bus will not leave a stop before the scheduled time, but once it arrives at the stop, it will not wait beyond the scheduled stop time.
Students will be picked up and dropped off at regularly designated stops only. In the afternoons, buses will remain at the school 5 minutes after the bell for students to board, so students should proceed immediately to their scheduled bus.

Rider Eligibility
Transportation to and from Princeton ISD campuses is available for students who live two miles or more from their zoned campus. All students who are eligible to ride a bus will be assigned a bus route and stop based on the student's legal residence. Students are limited to riding only the school bus that serves their legal residence and will not be allowed to ride a different bus or get off the bus at a different stop than the one assigned.
Princeton ISD has a mapping program that is used for transportation management and routing. This software also helps the district determine transportation eligibility as it is capable fo accurately determining the home-to-school distance for each student. Transportation services are not provided to students who choose to transfer from their zoned campus.
