I am from Dallas, TX and was raised in Carrollton, TX. I graduated from Newman Smith High School in 1997. I completed my Associate Degree in 2004 from Collin County Community College, my bachelor's degree in history and anthropology in 2007-8, and finally my masters' degree in history in 2017. I have 3 children and have been married almost 18 years. I enjoy travel, video games, movies, and reading.

In this course, students will examine the social, political, economic, and cultural history of the United States from Westward Expansion to the present. US History II examines social reform, world wars, the Great Depression, Cold War, and post-Cold War eras. Themes include American culture, civil and human rights, technological change, economic change, immigration and migration, the expansion of the federal government, and the study of US foreign policy.
