  • Office hours

    Normal business hours for the PISD administration building are 7:15 a.m.-4 p.m. Monday through Friday. For elementary campuses, office hours are 8 a.m.-4 p.m. Monday-Friday, and secondary campuses are 7 a.m.-3:30 p.m. Monday-Friday.

  • Schools closed

    Princeton schools and offices will be closed Monday, Sept. 7, for Labor Day. Normal classes and office hours resume Tuesday, Sept. 8.

  • UIL realignment

    UIL has released its realignment for the 2020-22 seasons. Princeton will be in District 10-5A and will face opponents Denison, Lovejoy, McKinney North, Prosper Rock Hill, Sherman, The Colony and Wylie East. For football, the Panthers are in District 7-5A and will face opponents Denison, Frisco, Frisco Lebanon Trail, Frisco Liberty, Frisco Memorial, Lake Dallas, Lovejoy and Prosper Rock Hill.

  • Early release

    PISD will release early Friday, Oct. 16, for homecoming. Schools will observe the following release schedule: PHS releases at 12:05 p.m., buses run at 12:30 after lunch; Clark and Southard release at 12:35 p.m.; all elementary schools release at 1:30 p.m.; and Canup releases at 1:40 p.m.

  • Bus transportation

    For all bus transportation during the 2020-2021 school year, parents must sign up their students. Visit the district website at www.princetonisd.net and click the Bus Routes link or use the Departments tab and click Transportation and Bus Rider Sign-Up 2020-2021.

    Parents must fill out the form for each student in the household that needs transportation. Complete all boxes and click submit.

    All routes, including bus number, bus stop and pick-up times, will be posted on the transportation page of the district website.

  • Online registration

    Every existing student needs to complete online registration for the upcoming school year. To complete the registration, sign in to the Parent Portal through Infinite Campus and click on the Online Registration link under User Account. If you experience difficulties logging in through Parent Portal, contact the campus office at 469-952-5400. New students must register at the campus.

  • Season tickets

     
    Season tickets are available to the public.
     
    Tickets are available for $8 per ticket/$40 per season (5 games) at the PISD administration building, 321 Panther Parkway, or on the website under the TICKETS tab.

    Office hours are 7:30 a.m.-4:30 p.m. Monday through Thursday.

  • School start times

    District officials have finalized the campus bell schedules for 2020-2021. They are:
    Godwin, Harper, Lacy, Lowe, Smith elementary schools, 8:30 a.m.-3:50 p.m.

    Canup Early Childhood Center, 8:40 a.m.-4 p.m.
    Clark and Southard middle schools, 7:30 a.m.-2:55 p.m.
    PHS, 7:30 a.m.-3 p.m.

  • Senior portraits 

    Double T Photography will be at PHS Saturday, Sept. 12, from 9 a.m.-4 p.m. to shoot senior portraits. These will be used in the yearbook and for graduation publications. Senior retakes are 10 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 16.

  • Required posting

    Princeton Independent School District ADOPTED A TAX RATE THAT WILL RAISE MORE TAXES FOR MAINTENANCE AND OPERATIONS THAN LAST YEAR'S TAX RATE. THE TAX RATE WILL EFFECTIVELY BE RAISED BY 5.33 PERCENT AND WILL RAISE TAXES FOR MAINTENANCE AND OPERATIONS ON A $100,000 HOME BY APPROXIMATELY $-101.60.
