Princeton schools and offices will be closed Friday, May 24, because of an unused bad weather day and Monday, May 27, for Memorial Day. Normal classes and hours resume Tuesday, May 28.
District officials have finalized the campus bell schedules. They are:
Elementary, 8:30 a.m.-3:50 p.m.
Huddleston, 7:35 a.m.-3 p.m.
Clark, 7:30 a.m.-2:55 p.m.
PHS, 7:30 a.m.-2:45 p.m.
The PHS graduation will be 7 p.m. Thursday, June 6, at the Allen Event Center.
Princeton ISD was recognized with the Texas Honors Circle Award by the state for strong academic performance with cost-effective spending. PISD ranks in the Top 3 percent for student achievement compared to costs to operate.
Senior awards and scholarships will be presented during a ceremony at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, May 28, in the PHS auditorium. Lower grade-level awards are the same day with juniors at 7:45 a.m., sophomores at 8:30 a.m. and freshmen at 9:40 a.m.
The Princeton Ministerial Alliance is sponsoring the traditional Baccalaureate service at 3 p.m. Sunday, June 2, in the PHS auditorium. This service, organized by local pastors and students, honors graduating seniors.
