The Independent Study Mentor Program is a
one semester honors course for seniors in the
distinguished or recommended graduation programs. This course
enables high school students
to glimpse the working world and interact with career professionals.
The course consists of five
learning segments: Preparing, Probing, Previewing, Producing, and
Presenting. Students keep a
Process Record of their work that includes a detailed research log, all
task details, and their products.
The course culminates in a Presentation, an event for students to share
their products to invited guests.
