Welcome students of Princeton High School! I am Mary Ellen
Alagna and I am YOUR Librarian! My role is top help you achieve your
education goals by providing the information, materials, and resources
needed to complete your assignments. I am successful when YOU are
successful!
<>I graduated from the University of Kansas with a BS in Secondary
Education - Language Arts and Psychology and then taught English
for four years
at Palmer Junior High School in Independence, Missouri. Next, I
stayed home to raise my family. I also had a small newsletter
business for communities for which I sold advertisemnets and wrote
articles. After 18 years at home, I returned to teaching!
When I started teaching freshmen English at Princeton High School, my
own three children were in 9th, 10th and 12 grades. It was a busy busy
time! I love being outside and enjoy tennis, bike riding, snow shoeing
and skliing. And, of course, I love reading! I
am now in my 16th year at Princeton High School and my 10th year as a
librarian! I love working with our students and sharing my
passion for reading and technology!
