Design a Gant chart for Creating a Car-Buying Guide; form groups, assign tasks, and plan to go to the Media Center tomorrow for any research.
 
Tuesday    Sponge:  Define the problem solving, criteria, and constraint.
Media Center for research on car-buying guide.
 
Wednesday  
 Sponge:  Define the last four terms on p. 63.  
In groups put poster together.  Prepare for presentations.
 
Thursday    Sponge:  List two pros and two cons of solving problems with a team approach.
Present Car Buying Guides to class.  Went over Packet 4 discussing all but  group.
 
Friday    Sponge:   Describe three ways to help keep a team focused.
Students may work in groups of  4 or 5.  Have them do Examining Team Roles and Problem Solving in Action; Study Guide and Facts in Review 1-8, p. 78.

Review the rules of debit and credit for assets, liabilities, owner's equity, revenue, expenses, and drawing.   Textbook p. 56 begin with Work Together, and p. 39 workbook, 3-3.  Assign problems 3-1 to 3-4, pp. 58-59.  
 
Tuesday    Sponge:   Name the four questions to ask yourself when analyzing a transaction into its debit and credit parts.
Check problems 3-1 to 3-4; assign Master Problem 3-5, p. 60; challenge problem, 3-6, p. 61; and Recycling Problem, 3-1, p. C-3 and Study Guide.
 
Wednesday    Sponge:  Cases #1 & #2 for Critical Thinking, p. 62
Check problmes 3-5 to recyle and study guide; turn in Chapter 3 Problems; take a Chapter 3 Test.
 
Thursday   Sponge:   What is the difference between capital and drawing?
Check all problems
 
Friday    Sponge:  Draw several T accounts.  Write any asset one, any liability on one, any capital on one, any expense on one, any drawing on one and any revenue on one.
Then indicate the Dr/Cr.; increase/decrease side; and the normal balance side of each account. 
Turn in weekly sponges.
