Teacher Bio
Princeton I.S.D.
I majored in art after receiving an Art Scholarship to the University
of
Science and Arts of Oklahoma out of High School. I then attended the
University
of Oklahoma for Art History Graduate work, then West Texas State
University
to get my teachers certification in 1987. I began teaching Art at
Princeton
High School in 1988.
My favorite areas of art are watercolor painting, pen & ink drawing
and
pencil drawing. I have worked in clay sculpture, pottery, print making,
photography,
painting, jewelry making, airbrush and.
In drawing I have worked with pastels, conte pencil, charcoal, pencil,
color
pencil, pen & ink, airbrush and Adobe Paintbrush and Illustrator.
My goal as an educator is to show how fun art can be and how it can
lead
to a very exciting and enjoyable career. As in every aspect form of
life,
there is a responsibility for students to realize the great
opportunities
available in our great country if they will simply embrace their own
potential
and make the most of it.
