I have been teaching Texas and American History at Clark Middle School
since 1999. I have a wife, Rebecca, and a daughter, Haven.
We live in the Princeton area and attend the First United Methodist
Church.
We love this community and are very proud to be a part of it. We
are not from this area but are very happy to be here.
I am originally from the swamplands of Southeast Texas. My
hometown
is Winnie, Texas (Yes! its even smaller than Princeton) and I attended
East Chambers High School. I graduated from Texas A&M
University
and received my teacher certification from the University of Texas at
Dallas.
Before becoming a teacher I did many different things. I was a
chef,
Boy Scout Executive, professional trainer, standardized test scorer,
Camp
Director and counselor for emotional distrubed teenagers. I love
working with young people, I love history and I love teaching, so I
decided
to become a history teacher. I have taught at Clark Junior
High and I currently teach at Princeton High School. My only real
handicap
is I can be quite shy and reserved, especially in front of a group of
people.
(Being in my class or hearing me speak will probably give you a good
idea
about the accuracy of that last remark)
