Be sure to use this code when you register for the SAT and the ACT and/or indicate Princeton High School on the form.  This ensures that these scores will be on your transcript.  Failure to utilize this code will result in more work on your part to get your test scores to the college/university you are planning to go to.  Also, you will not be eligible for some scholarships.

JUNIORS—Just a reminder of two programs that can pay for your SAT or ACT registration fees--

1. Fee Waivers--If you are on free or reduced lunch, you qualify for 2 SAT fee waivers and 2 ACT fee waivers. There is still time for your to register for the June 5 SAT and the June 12 ACT. Stop by Ms. Selfridge’s office for the fee waivers.
2. Vouchers--Grade 11 Testing Program Official announcement--"Students enrolled in 11th grade in a local Texas public school district or charter school in the 2009-2010 school year will have the opportunity to select one college readiness assessment at state expense. At this time, students may take a June administration of either the ACT or the SAT, and the state will pay the cost of their regular registration fees to the extent that funding is available. Students who have already registered and paid for the April or June ACT or the May or June SAT may be eligible to be reimbursed by the applicable vendor."
  • In addition, Ms Selfridge has ordered and received 20 vouchers for the May SAT. Due to the new program students may still register for the May 1 SAT with the voucher, if they register by April 15.
  • There are a limited number of vouchers. Ms. Selfridge has a sign-up sheet for the May SAT, June SAT and June ACT vouchers.

When registering for SAT and ACT make sure you indicate Princeton High School as your high school. Our school code is 445710. This ensures that we receive your scores and will then place it on your transcript. The links for the SAT and ACT are on Ms. Selfridge’s website.

SAT Dates
Register for the SAT Reasoning Test.  (The SAT Subject Tests are only required at a few college and universities).

The Writing portion of the ACT is optional and costs extra.  Check your college/university requirements.

FEE WAIVERS FOR PSAT*, SAT & ACT Fee waivers are available to students who qualify.  The general qualifications include that the student must be a junior or a senior and shows economic need (participates in the Free/Reduced lunch program).  There are some restrictions and limitations.  See Ms. Selfridge for details and specifications.  (* = only juniors can utilize fee waivers for the PSAT)
