1. Come to class on time and be prepared!
Standing outside the door and rushing in after the
bell has begun to ring will constitute a tardy.
You must be IN YOUR SEAT when the bell begins to ring to be
counted on time.
You must have all required materials for the day. This includes projects, books, paper,
pen/pencil, spiral, etc.
You must face forward and be ready to receive
instruction when you have a seat.
2. Attend to personal needs BEFORE coming
to class.
I give each student only two hall passes PER SEMESTER
so please take care of all business
between classes.
3. Remain in your assigned seat unless you
have permission to get up.
Never sit in any seats not assigned to you. This creates attendance issues.
Trash can be thrown away as you leave the class.
4. Talk
only when permitted, and always raise your hand and wait to be called on.
There are times when class discussion is okay, and
times when it isn’t.
If I am teaching, you are silent.
If someone is giving a speech/presentation, you are
SILENT as well.
5. Respect
everyone and be polite!
This means your teacher(s), substitute teachers,
administrators, and students too.
Treat others, as you would have them treat you!
No complaining, put-downs, or rude/negative comments about
anyone will be tolerated.
Do not distract others.
6. None of the following should be visible,
audible, or “smellible” AT ANY TIME:
iPods, cell phones, mp3 players, cameras,
makeup, mirrors, food, drink etc.
This is a school policy and there
will be no exceptions.
7. Absolutely no use of perfume, cologne,
lotions, etc will be tolerated in my classroom.
Many people, including Mrs. Dreher have
allergies to colognes, perfumes, and lotions.
Do not use any of these items in Mrs. Dreher’s
classroom or presence.
If you do, it is an immediate detention!
