Summer 2007

On June 27, 2007 my son and I along with other bikers headed to South Dakota.  After two and half days of riding we entered South Dakota.  We spent 5 days riding around South Dakota with one spent riding to Devils Tower in Wyoming.  My son and I branched off from the others and rode to see family in Colorado Springs.  We took two extra days riding through North Park, CO. and Rocky Mountain National Park.  We arrived home on July 10th and flew to Orlando with my wife to see her family on July 13th.  Wow! What a summer!

Hwy 87 and Hwy 16A both have three one lane
tunnels. The roads, tunnels, bridges are part of the
Peter Norbeck Scenic Byway.

Devils Tower in Wyoming was quite impressive.
Notice the people in the bottom right.

Hwy 14A (Spearfish Canyon) is a very scenic route.
This waterfall is less than 100 yards from the road.
We stopped here early one morning.

The highlight of the trip. What a great monument!

On our trip to Orlando my wife and I took our son to
"The Holy Land Experience".  It was great.  Very
imformative and well worth the cost.  Here we get a
lesson about the temple in Jerusalem in front of a
scaled down replica of  the temple.
