Tattling on Talley

Hi!  My name is Dianne Talley and I am proud to be an Accelerated
Reading teacher at Lacy Elementary.  I grew up in Princeton and
attended school here.  My dad and my grandfather attended school
here also.  This is my 35th year to teach school and 34 of those years
years have been with Princeton ISD.  I live in the country about a mile
     from Merit.
I have 3 grown children and 7 grandchildren.  My daughter Kim and            husband Bart  have Day Cares in Wylie and in Lavon. Kim is a neo-
natal nurse and Bart farms.  They have 4 children. Heather who is
an OSU graduate and is married to Silas.  Heather works with younger
children with learning disabilities and Silas is a Wylie policeman.   Heather
and Silas are expecting a son, Carson, in January.  JC just entered basic
training in the Air Force.   Kaylee is a Freshman at Trinity Valley Junior
college and is loving being a Cardette.  Blaze is a 5th grader at Community
Middle School.  My son Casey is married to Julie and they have 5 year old
Emily who is in Kindergarten in Farmersville and 2 year old Aaron.
Casey is a fireman/paramedic in Plano and his wife Julie teaches English
at Farmersville High School.  My son Kirk and his wife Careylyn live in
Woodward, Oklahoma.  They have 1 year old Lily.  Kirk works for a local
oil company, Cudd Pressure Control.  Careylyn is an attorney, specializing
in family law.   I have three great kids and feel very blessed by the mates
    they have chosen.
I enjoy spending time with my grandchildren.  We play games, go to the
movies, and shop together.  I also enjoy church activities at Bethlehem
Baptist. My hobbies are antiquing, spending time with friends, reading and
     cooking.
I know I will never get rich teaching school but I've never had a dull
day either.  Each child is a magnificent unique creation of God.  They
deserve to be loved, nurtured, and disciplined so that they can reach
     their highest potential.
