Class Policies
Your students and I will be having a discussion on the first day of school about my expectations for them and what they can expect from me. I hope for a very successful year by following the guidelines listed below. The guidelines below apply to everyone in the school building, teachers, adults, and students.
1.
Come prepared to class.
2. Please listen and follow directions the first
time they are given.
3. Always respect our classroom
environment, rights, feelings and property of others.
4. Always keep your hands and feet to
yourself.

Consequences for not following our guidelines are:
1. A reminder and a note in the behavior
book.
2. A phone call home.
3. Contact parents and after school detention.
4. Contact parents and after school
detention.
5. Referral to office.
I hope we never get past the first or second step.
I have found that the phone call to parents is most effective if the student has to call and report why they are on the second mark. I will be right beside them to talk to you also, if we need to use this, I hope not.
Let's all work together for a great year for these special students.
