Mrs. Lydon’s Classroom Expectations…

Queen of the Class

Your students and I will be having a discussion on the first day of school about my expectations for them and what they can expect from me.  I hope for a very successful year by following the guidelines listed below…

1.   Be on time and prepared to work before the tardy bell.

2.  Always get permission to talk or to leave your seat.

3.  Keep your hands, feet, and other objects to yourself.

4.  Respect the rights, property, and feelings of others.

5.  Follow directions the first time that they are given.

Late Work

All work is to be turned in on time. Assignments that are 1 day late will at best receive a grade of 70. The best grade possible for work that is 2 days late will be 50.  After 2 days, the student will receive a zero for the assignment.

Make-up Work

Absent students are responsible for finding out what assignments need to be made up. Students will receive the total number of days absent plus one day to turn in make-up work. Example: A student is absent for 3 days. He has 4 days to complete and turn in the assignments.
