What are we doing in class right now?
Your
children are learning about and sharing the history of Texas in a few
unique ways. We've discovered that we don't have to just read a
textbook to learn about and share history...they are using
encyclopedias (online and bound), books, articles, pictures, websites,
etc. Each student or small group is sharing their knowledge in
various ways. We have one group writing obituaries of famous
Texans, one writing an A-Z book of Texas, a small group sharing
historical sites found around our great state, one studying a famous
battle fought in Texas, and one creating postcards of five large cities
around Texas. The students are doing a great job!!
