What are we doing in class right now?
We are busy at work learning about soil in GT. Your students have studied various samples of soil and then created a map showing where they came from. They have compared and contrasted these samples...using the highest levels of Bloom's in doing so. We've learned that soil has four components and your children created (or are creating) flip-charts to explain what this means. We will be learning about creatures that live in the soil after our flip-charts are completed.
Very soon we will start our composts...what can you do to help?
* Save your veggie scraps, grass clippings, raked leaves, and coffee grounds for us!! Once we get the compost set up, you should be receiving a note from me asking for your scraps! If you would like to help us keep it up, let me know.
