Before coming to Princeton, I taught eighth grade English, American History, civics, and earth science, coached a championship scholastic team, and was the local 4-H leader.Why do I teach?Prior to my eighth grade assignment, I taught all sixth grade subjects in a self-contained classroom. Where I stressed creative
writing, reading comprehension, elements of literature, division, fractions, and pre-algebra, comparisons of cultures, economies and geography of nations of the world, and explored areas of life and physical sciences.My first public school assignment was teaching kindergarten. Here I stressing reading readiness, development of motor, cognitive, listening, and social skills, and attempting to instill in students an appreciation of music, books, and learning.
We cannot predict what the future may afford each individual. Whether going to work right out of high school or attending college, I will do my best to prepare each student to meet his or her full potential. I hope to serve your child well.
