The state of Texas has hired the Clark Advertising Agency to put together a presentation advertising one of the counties of Texas. To share your findings, you may choose to do either a brochure in Microsoft Publisher or a Power Point presentation.

Task

Research your county using the sites listed below. Be sure to include pictures that might attract visitors to your county. Promote your county in hopes of drawing both visitors and permanent residents. Your brochure or Power Point might also be used to share updated information with current residents and government agencies. (Since many lawyers live in the county you're researching, be sure to put the information you find into your own words.)

Process

Use these websites to find information on your county.

Be sure to include the following items in either your brochure or Power Point:

• a map of the area
• important cities
• important tourist locations
• historical sites of interest
• state parks
• famous people from your county
• any other information you find interesting about your county
