Varsity Band
This band is made
up of mostly second year players. The Band will split into two
bands the second semester (Maroon & White). They will have 4
concerts, participate in one pep rally. In the Spring they will
do 2 Contest and Sightreading contests as well as go to Sandy Lake. The
band is directed by Mr. Herring and assisted by Mr. Schenk, Mr.
McClure, and Mr. Brewer.
2nd Period
Varsity Band
This band is made
up of mostly third year players along with advanced 2nd year
players. They will have 4 concerts, participate in four pep
rallies. In the Spring they will do 2 Contest and Sightreading
contests as well as go to Sandy Lake. The band is directed by Mr.
Schenk and assisted by Mr. Herring, Mr. McClure, and Mr. Brewer.
3rd Period
Jazz Band
This band is made
up of both 7th and 8th graders. Students must take regular band
in addition to Jazz Band (they can not take jazz band by itself) The
students will have Three concerts, including the Annual Jazz
Night the first Thursday of May , and participate in two
contests. The band is directed by Mr. Schenk.
