Daily Grades


Daily grades include:


    2. Having your instrument

    3. Music Binder

    4. Pencil

    5. Class Contributions

Tests:

    2. Playing Tests

    3. Written Tests

Performance/Concert/Contest Grades


Students to receive full credit are expected to


    2. Play all required concerts and contests--70%

    3. Dressed correctly--    10%

    4. Arrive at the appointed time-    10%

    5. Listen to the other bands-    10%

Missing Required Performance

To be excused from a required performance Parents/Guardians of the student must contact the Band director.  Excused abscenes are left to the sole discretion of the director. These include


    2. Sickness

    3. Death in the immediate family

    4. Immediate family is in the hospital
