  • World Read Aloud Day

February 1st, Huddleston Intermediate welcomed 4 High School Students from Mr. Cox's Drama class who joined us during lunch time with our students and shared and read aloud 4 short stories for "World Read Aloud" Day. February 1st, people all over the world read aloud together and advocate for literacy as a right that belongs to everyone. Reading aloud to children every day helps them increase their reading abilities and vocabulary skills by almost a full year according studies. We would like to Thank Mr. Cox, Summer Austin, Rachael Beatty, Brooklynn Gilbert, and Ripley Qualls.
